Idra Group is a manufacturer of this giant machine. Firstly this is a unique machine and secondly only Tesla owns it in the world.

This gigantic Giga press put 55,000 to 61,000 kilonewtons of force. California-based Fremont factory got another such machine last September. It’s surprising to see they built separate structures for devices outside the factory.

According to the fire department took over the charge and normalized the situation today when one of those machines got fire. People were able to see smoke in the sky for an hour.

Tesla makes spare parts of their model Y vehicles with these machines to say now the production at this Fremont factory is complex. Tesla decided to close the factory for few days due to issues related to part supply.

Thankfully all workers and other machines are safe at the Fremont factory. The fire department was quick to control the fire within time. Still, losing such a big machine will break the smooth flow of production.
