When it comes to graphics cards, Nvidia is the global gold standard everyone looks out for. There were rumors regarding the launch of a new graphics cards by Nvidia in the RTX series and it is now a reality as Nvidia is all set to launch the RTX 3060 Graphics card later this month.

Nvidia announced that it is going to launch the RTX 3060 graphics card on 25th February. The retailers will start accepting orders for the new RTX 3060 from 9 AM PT/12 PM ET. However, this time there will be no Founder’s Edition of the RTX 3060.

The new RTX 3060 from Nvidia is priced at USD 329 and that makes it one of the most affordable graphics cards in the RTX 3000 series. The new graphics card will go on sale this 25th and it will be interesting to see the response in the market.

Talking about features, the RTX 3060 is a successor to the old and aging GeForce GTX 1060 Pascal cards. The new RTX 3060 will have 12GB GDDR6 memory which is quite impressive. Nvidia has promised 10 times more ray-tracing performance with this one. Also, like other graphics cards in the series, RTX 3060 will also have DLSS support and Nvidia’s suite of RTX applications.

The DLSS technology uses neural networks and AI to analyze games and then it sharpens images at lower resolutions. Then it uses Nvidia’s image reconstruction technology and can upscale the image to make it as good as native 4K or even better. You see that this new RTX 30 card is coming later this month so one can expect that these new RTX 3060 Graphic cards will go out of stock pretty soon. The RTX 30 series launched back in last fall and it is been quite difficult to purchase these RTX 30 series cards ever since.

Nvidia also said that its supply for GPU for both consumers and partners “will likely remain lean through Q1” back in January. This means that we will see a lean supply till April. To tackle this shortage in supply and high-prices, Nvidia confirmed that it is planning to bring the older RTX 2060 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.

The new Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card is one of the most affordable graphics cards in the RTX 30 series and it will likely get a very good response from the users.
