GTA Online’s Los Santos Tuners Update Is All About Cars, Launches July 20. The next major update for GTA Online has been announced, and it’s another big one.

Rockstar Games has revealed the next big update coming to Grand Theft Auto Online, and it’s all about cars. The Los Santos Tuners update goes live on July 20, and it focuses on the “underground tuner scene” across Los Santos.
The expansion adds new missions and races and what’s known as the LS Car Meet, which is a new social gathering where players can get together and show off their whips. The Meet is located at a “non-descript, graffitied warehouse” in Cypress Flats. You can spot it by listening for the sound of revving engines or by looking for a finish line that’s painted on the road outside it.

The next big update to GTA Online is coming next week.
On July 20, GTA Online: Los Santos Tuners will launch. It introduces Tuner-based missions and races and introduces the LS Car Meet, a shared social space where you can mingle with other players to race and show off your customized vehicles.
This LS Car Meet that headlines the update takes place over in Cypress Flats and welcomes players and their vehicles to show off and admire others’ cars. It comes with a new “Reputation” system which players can utilize by logging in daily, finishing races, and through other activities in exchange for customizations and other rewards. Much of this system and the meet is centered around a new feature called the “Test Track,” which will allow players to race without worrying about interference from any bystanders and let players try different vehicles.
The LS Car Meet
To get started, you’ll need to visit a non-descript, graffitied warehouse on the edge of town in Cypress Flats — listen close, and the sound of engines revving might give it away, or look for the makeshift finish line on the road outside. Inside, the LS Car Meet has a “good vibes only” policy, making it a great place to skip the attention of the law and any small-time chumps looking to terrorize the citizens of greater Los Santos.

Park your attitude (and your weaponized vehicles) at the door and share your love of car culture with some like-minded personalities. Here, you’ll find countless ways to immerse yourself in the beating heart of the scene, show off prized personal vehicles from your collection or check out everybody else’s.

To start, you’ll unlock a new Reputation progression with new benefits unlocking after each Level. Plus, you’ll get access to the Test Track, large underground space inside the Car Meet warehouse where you and your friends can drive, drift, and race vehicles freely, without interference from pesky pedestrians or the law. You can also sample new Test Rides in the Test Track – your chance to get behind the wheel of a rotating selection of vehicles and push their limits.
More races that take place both on the Test Track and on the streets of Los Santos will be added to the game. Those, unfortunately, those accompanied by many new vehicles, with 17 in total added throughout the next couple of weeks. A total of 10 of them will be released alongside the update.

The Bottom Line
Naturally, this update to GTA Online will inject a whole new ensemble of fresh vehicle inventory across Los Santos dealerships — ranging from imported tuner cars from Annis, Dinka, Übermacht, and more to that straight up Vapid muscle that Americans have come to know and love. There will be 17 new cars in total over the course of the summer, with 10 dropping at launch on July 20.
Plus, when GTA Online launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year, select vehicles will be upgradable with all new speed improvements and more. These special upgrades will be available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of Grand Theft Auto V — stay tuned for more details.

Stealing and successfully selling a vehicle to LS Customs in Free mode will also earn you the Los Santos Customs Coveralls, perfect for your inner grease-monkey. Claim your rewards by playing Los Santos Tuners on or after July 20. Your items will land in your Wardrobe 72 hours after logging in after July 23.
