Amid rumors that the Apple Watch Series 7 could go on sale within weeks, new images were shared with MacRumors, reportedly showing off the new Apple Watch in the wild, giving us our first authentic look at Apple’s latest watch.
The images were initially posted to a Facebook group for Apple Watch enthusiasts but have since been removed. The poster of the photos claimed they work for a carrier that was testing the Series 7 before it officially went on sale “later this fall.”

We’ve only seen the Series 7 in Apple’s marketing and promotional materials so far, and the company hasn’t announced a date for when it will be available for purchase. However, today, it shared the images to give us a first hands-on look at the Series 7 with its more extensive and expansive display.

Apple today announced Apple Watch Series 7, featuring a re-engineered Always-On Retina display with significantly more screen area and thinner borders, making it the largest and most advanced collection ever. In addition, the narrower frames allow the group to maximize the screen area while minimally changing the watch’s dimensions.
In addition, the design of the Apple Watch Series 7 is refined with softer, more rounded corners, and the display has a unique refractive edge that makes full-screen watch faces and apps appear to connect with the curvature of the case seamlessly.
