Dynamic Lock security your computer if your Windows 10 or 11 PC notices that you’ve left with your smartphone. Here is how to activate it.
Anyone can look at your Windows computer until it locks on its own if you fail to set it in lock mode before you leave. Windows offers a function called Dynamic Lock that connects your smartphone and Computers to stop it from happening. Your PC will lock Windows when it determines that you have walked far enough away with your phone. This prevents anyone else from accessing it without the required login credentials. This is how you activate the feature.

Turn on Bluetooth by going to Settings > Bluetooth on an iPhone. Additionally, you can go to Control Center and turn it on there. On an Android phone, you can enter the fast settings menu and turn on the feature by swiping down from the top of the screen.
Connect your iPhone to Windows

Open Settings > Personal Hotspot and enable the Personal Hotspot function to pair your iPhone with Windows 10. Then select Add Bluetooth or another device under Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Your computer will start looking for nearby devices when you choose Bluetooth.

On your iPhone, go to the Bluetooth settings page and choose Windows computer under Other Devices. The Bluetooth list on your PC should now include your iPhone. To connect it to your computer, click the entry.

After then, you ought to see a PIN for pairing. Your iPhone will then show up in the list of devices linked to your PC when you click Pair on your iPhone and Connect on your PC.
Windows 11 follows a similar procedure. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices on your computer after turning on your iPhone hotspot, then hit the Add device option. Go to the Bluetooth settings screen on your phone after selecting Bluetooth.

Choose your Windows laptop from the list of other devices. To pair your iPhone with your computer, select it from the Bluetooth list on your PC. A PIN for pairing will be visible. To pair the two devices, click Pair on your iPhone and Connect on your PC.
Now, the list of items that are associated with your PC should include your iPhone. (Those who own Apple products can unlock their iPhone or Mac with an Apple Watch.)
Pair Your Android Phone With Windows

Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices on a Windows 11 machine and select Add device. Select the Add device button. To connect your Android phone to your PC, choose it from the list of available devices.
Following that, both your phone and your computer will display a PIN for pairing. To pair the two devices, click OK on your phone and Connect on your PC. The list of items that have been connected to your PC will then include your phone.
Switch on Dynamic Lock

Open Accounts > Sign-in choices in Windows once your phone has been connected. You may find the area for Dynamic Lock by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the Sign-in settings page. The names of your associated devices ought to appear under this choice if you check the box that states Allow Windows to automatically lock your device while you’re not using it.

Now that Dynamic Lock is configured, the computer will lock automatically the next time you leave Bluetooth range with your mobile device. Windows will launch to the lock screen rather than staying on your desktop.
Dynamic Lock constantly functioned during my tests with my Windows 11 laptop but not with my Windows 10 desktop. Your results may vary, but when everything works out, it can be a helpful security feature.
